Minutes
Minutes of the Council Meeting held on Tuesday 17th March 2026 at Bridgwater BC at 10:30am were approved then signed by A Midwinter.
Matters arising
Correspondence
Nailsea is now known as Mizzymead (Nailsea) IBC following their AGM.
Secretary's report
Current Council Contact list has been put up on the website, but you have to log in to view.
Delegates have enhanced access to be able to check availability of their players. Some may not have logon id and password so KW to run through with individuals.
New players at the end of season (and possibly a couple from the beginning) – some of these may also not have logon ids and password so KW to go through the list. (Note: post meeting – please get new players to register themselves as this is easier).
Competition Rules have been updated and put on Website.
Treasurer's report
All club affiliation and competition entries have been received.
New badges, score cards and bowls stickers have been obtained for the new season.
The Atherley entry has been done. Website has been paid for.

KW to draw up Atherley Trial forms. Need to agree mechanism regarding this with Selectors.
Competition Secretary's report
Entries received are :
Double Rink Knockout 16.
Top Nine 14
Double Rink League 9.
KW to contact North Petherton to see if they would reconsider entering the league.
The draw was done for the Double Rink Knockout and the Top Nine by A Midwinter and J Glendinning. These will be published once the Finals weekend is agreed with Taunton Deane.
GC to check competition finances as a discussion was held regarding Trophies (to be put on agenda for next meeting)
Competition fees to remain the same. KW drafted an updated form to include email addresses.
